i have an existing fence. can my neighbor add onto it lengthwise if the fence is on my property? | |
the fence goes down a lit over have way down the property line. can they just add onto my fence(our fence is on ou side of the property line)or must they stay on their side? also, if they run the fence down their line, it will become a hazard to see traffic when we try to exit our garage. can we fight how far they can come down?

have you tried discussing your concerns with you neighbor? assuming you have, here's the scoop.
if the fence is on your property, they cannot add onto it unless you specfically tell them they can. that isn't to say that they can always leave a small gap between your fence and the property line before starting their fence in line with yours. if it is actually on the property line then they are able to add onto it.
as for the traffic hazzard concern, almost every city (or county if your in a township) has specific regulations about setbacks from roadways both in straight areas as well as at corners or around curves to address just the concern you have.
