how to straighten leaning vinyl fence | |
the vinyl privacy fence on one side of my yard is leaning badly. the posts were set in 3 foot deep holes (frost line is around 42") with 2 bags of concrete and the rest with soil. i strightened the posts once, but the started leaning a few months later. the soil is clay and the water seems to drain into the postholes. i even see water if i look down the inside of the vinyl post. i need a way the permanently fix this problem. would it help if i remove the soil from the post holes and fill the entire things with concrete. or should i dig entirely new postholes below the frost line?
