· Find your starting point and place a temporary post.
· Attach some string to this end and walk to where your other end point will stand. Place another temporary post in the ground and mark this spot, attaching the other string end. The string will be utilized as guide to make sure the fence is straight during the installation.
· Dig post holes along your fence line - the string you hanged. Post holes extend around 2 feet in the ground and should be spaced 5 feet. Use the post hole digger and make the hole nearly the post size. Put the post in the hole and place dirt and heavy rocks around the post to make it stable. Continue to securely place all wire posts in the ground. While you are putting the fence posts, utilize the level and make sure all the posts are level.
Remove your wire fencing from its roll and place it on the ground near the posts. Cut this wire fence into 10-foot pieces, or the same as two fence sections, propping it against the post. With the staple gun, attach the wiring onto the posts. Staple your post in no less than three places - top, middle, bottom – to make sure it is secured. Go on to finish your wire fence.
