Chain Link Fence

Chain link fence is probably the strongest fence that there is. A vinyl coated chain link fence is as protective as a wall but allows you to see what is going on on the other side of the fence. It is secure, safe and see-through at the same time.

Naturally, all chain link fences do not have same qualities. The strength of the fence depends on the thickness of the wire that is used for creating chains, also the material of the fence posts influences remarkably the resistance of the fence. The thickness of the wire is measured in gauges and larger gauge number means thinner wire (and the other way around).

The best idea, when considering resistance, is to set the posts in concrete. Deeper post holes prevent fence from dipping over when someone tries to climb over it. Another crucial issue is to make post holes as wide at the bottom as they are at the top to prevent the posts from popping out in cold winter.

Chain link fences look best when the fence runs parallel with the surface of the ground. Make sure that the company or workers that install your fence, are familiar with the surface and know what to expect.
