Wire Fence

When you have a large household or a cattle that needs a fence, a wire fence is probably the best choise. There is a variety of fences that you can choose from, in order to get the fence that would match your household. Most popular types of wires are woven and barbed wires. It is also possible to combine wires in order to achieve the effect that you want.

Most wires are galvanized and this means that they are resistant to different weather conditions (wind, rain, cold etc.). The thickness of the galvanized coat shows the degree of protection so that the thicker coat is more resistant. Even better protection against weather conditions is to coat the wire with aluminium because aluminium can be 3 to 5 times more resistant to weather than the galvanized wire.

The fencing type depends on the choise of the wire. When you combine different wires, you can protect the fence from breaking even in rough conditions. Another thing that you have to consider when choosing a wire type, is the type of animals that you plan to hold in there. Wires should be chosen accordingly.

There is one possibility that other fences do  not have – an option of electrizing. That is also one of the reasons why wire fences are very popular when circumscribing cattle’s area.
