Bamboo Fence

Bamboo fences are originally from Japan. Installing this type of fence should be thought through because it creates a certain atmosphere in your garden. However, when you have decided that the oriental mood is the scenery that you would like to create in your garden, bamboo fence is the best choise.

Bamboo fences can be used to create a mood, enclose, hide unsightly elements, partition or divide and help unify space.

When we divide fences considering their purposes, there are three basic types: open gates and fences, screening fences and sleeve fences.

Bamboo compares to wood when considering its naturality, it is very durable and strong. However, it is important to notice that bamboo fence also needs maintenance, similar to wooden fence. You can use the same products for treating bamboo that you use for treating wood.

When there are extreme weather conditions, you have to take care of the bamboo fence even more carefully. It is also suggested to apply a coat of UV resistant polyurethane to all bamboo fences as needed depending on your climate to repel water and help retain the appearance. If you live in a humid area or in an area with different weather conditions, use a mold resistant polyurethane.
