When you have a dog that enjoys being outdoors or you are planning on taking one, you should consider building a dog fence. On one hand it is good for a dog because it can be outdoors and does not have to be on chain but on the other hand it is good for yourself and for your neighbours because you don't have to worry about tha fact that you dog might attack anyone.
The measurements of a dog fence must comport to dog's size: for larger dogs you need bigger fence area and higher fence because a dog has to have room for running inside the bounded area and also it has to be certain that a dog can't jump over the fence.
Besides jumping over the fence, another issue is digging under the fence and in case of weak materials also coming through the fence. Therefore, you should consider your dogs weight and height when choosing a material of the dog fence. When you are afraid of the digging, you should secure the ground area, so that the option of digging would be eliminated.
There are many fences to choose. Some people prefer to have picket fences while other prefers a snow fence. A snow fence is a cheaper but it will protect your dog all the same. When putting your dog into a dog fence instead of on the chain, your dog can run freely and not endanger any one, and no one can endanger your dog.
